English Club at Primary School

Every second Monday up to four students from grades 9 to 11 go to primary school to meet the members of our English Club for beginners. At first we were very surprised to see how many young students were interested in learning a new language. You have to know that these students are from grades 3 and 4 so they stay at school after their normal classes and take part in the additional English classes as volunteers. Therefore, playing the role of the teachers, we need to make the lessons as interesting as possible. So every time we prepare games, pictures, songs, etc. It’s always a lot of fun for both sides. We have noticed that the students are all very motivated and learn to express themselves in a new language. And if they manage to do something correctly, which they usually do, they are even more motivated. Basically we have a lot of fun teaching them something new and I think that they as well have a great time.
